Copyright & License

Frontiers in Business and Finance recognizes the importance of protecting authors’ intellectual property while encouraging the broad circulation of scholarly work.

Authors who publish in the journal retain full copyright over their articles. By agreeing to publication, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive right to edit, reproduce, publish, distribute, and preserve their work in both digital and printed formats.

This arrangement allows authors to:

  • Keep complete ownership of their intellectual contributions

  • Reuse their work in future books, articles, and research projects

  • Include their articles in teaching and training materials

  • Deposit the final published version in institutional and subject-based repositories

  • Share their research on personal, academic, and professional platforms

All published material is licensed under an appropriate Creative Commons license (such as CC BY). This license allows others to copy, modify, and redistribute the content for lawful purposes, provided that the author(s) and the journal are properly acknowledged.

Any third-party use must comply with the terms of the selected license and include accurate citation and attribution.

This policy promotes ethical publishing practices, safeguards authors’ rights, and supports transparent and responsible scholarly communication in accordance with international open access standards.
