Open Access Policy

Frontiers in Interdisciplinary Applied Science (FIAS) is committed to promoting free and open access to scholarly research in interdisciplinary applied sciences. In line with its mission to encourage innovation and cross-disciplinary collaboration, the journal ensures that all published articles are immediately and permanently available online without any restrictions.

All research papers, review articles, and scholarly contributions published in FIAS can be accessed by readers worldwide without the need for subscriptions, registrations, or payments. Readers are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to, and use the full texts of articles for lawful academic, professional, and educational purposes, provided that proper acknowledgment is given to the original author(s) and the journal.

FIAS follows the Gold Open Access publishing model, guaranteeing continuous and unrestricted access to its content through the journal’s official website and digital archives. This approach supports long-term preservation and maximizes the global visibility of published research.

Authors retain ownership of their work while granting the journal a non-exclusive right to publish, distribute, and archive their articles in all formats and media. All publications are released under an appropriate Creative Commons license (such as CC BY), which permits responsible reuse, adaptation, and redistribution with proper attribution.

By adopting this open access policy, FIAS aims to expand the international reach and impact of interdisciplinary research, supporting scientists, researchers, educators, and policymakers in advancing knowledge and innovation.
