Copyright and Licensing

Frontiers in Robotics and Automation recognizes and respects the intellectual property rights of its authors. Authors retain full copyright ownership of their published work.

By submitting and publishing manuscripts, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, and preserve their articles in digital and printed formats.

This agreement allows authors to:

  • Retain complete ownership of their academic work

  • Reuse their content in future publications, books, and teaching resources

  • Deposit published articles in institutional and subject-based repositories

  • Share their work on personal websites and professional platforms

Any third-party use of journal content must comply with the terms of the applicable Creative Commons license and must include proper attribution to the original authors and the journal.

This policy supports academic independence, protects author rights, and encourages ethical and responsible dissemination of scientific knowledge in line with international publishing standards.
